The KRG series radar level transmitters do not need to be in contact with liquids. These instruments measure fluids level using a 26 GHz micro-wave pulse which is transmitted to the surface of the liquid and then transmitted back to the instrument. The time that the signal takes to reach the instrument is proportional to the level of the liquid. The signal is then processed and transformed into an output signal. The peculiarity of these level transmitters is that they can be used with aggressive fluids, do not need maintenance and are long lasting because they are not subject to movement.
